Hello, thank you for visiting.
My name is Deborah Jane, I am the Founder of The Hidden Force CIC.
I am also the "wife of" a Royal Green Jacket (1st Battalion, as was), now a Veteran himself.
-Experience
I have accompanied my husband on postings such as, Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Germany(West Germany back then).
We met at school, in 4th year of seniors, first impressions were not great, he was very much Mr. Popular, I honestly thought he was an "arse", until that is, one day we went on an adventure week with the school, he offered to carry my bag up Helvellyn. Some months after leaving school, he contacted me via a good friend and asked me out. He was working for the local council at the time, and had applied to join the Army.- Three times our wedding had to be postponed due to his Military commitments. On the day of wedding, he was notified that he had to be back the following day to fulfil his duties in NI, for 6 months. 36 years, 5 grown children, (two of which are currently serving),17 Grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren later, and still waiting for that honeymoon.

I have a passion for workplace wellbeing but this extends to personal lives, which is rather useful for our line of work. JULIE I am a proud mother of ( all of my children), one of which is a member of the military, so I understand the concerns faced by parents. I am currently supporting The Hidden Force CIC in my position as Head of Finance. I have been a supporter for The Hidden Force CIC since the beginning, and regularly advocate their services, whether that be by talking to people I meet, or fundraising.
I enjoy music, I believe it is food for the soul, and is my go to thing for my wellbeing. I also enjoy walking, reading, swimming and socialising at Northern Soul events. I am excited to be part of the team and the journey we are on.
